The “Word of the Week” this week is “polite.” During Monday Morning announcements I reminded the children that using polite words such as “please,” “thank-you,” “hello” and “good-morning” are very important at school, home and wherever they go.
As the days get colder, please remember to send your child to school with appropriate clothing for outside play and recess. Labeling jackets, snow pants and boots helps us keep the “Lost and Found” bin empty.
Our Apple Orchard turned into math fun as the children have been estimating “How many apples are on our Placentino Orchard trees?” The children really enjoyed the CARE Card trade-in for the apples, and it was a great Placentino community project for us all.
Have a wonderful week!
