This Week at Placentino: November 19 – 23

The “Word of the Week” this week is “thankful.”  During Monday Morning announcements I asked the children to think about all the things that they are thankful for. I know that I am personally thankful for each one of our students, the dedicated members of our Placentino staff and all of our Placentino families.

Our turkey in the Atrium is covered with feathers and the floor beneath him is piled with donations that the children have brought to school for our friends at the Holliston Pantry Shelf.  If your child would like to bring in a canned item or other food or paper good (no glass please) there is still room on the turkey for more feathers!

Last week our students were treated to a mini-performance of the Holliston High School production of “Beauty and the Beast.”  The high school students did a terrific job and our Placentino students were enthralled with the costumes and songs!

A reminder that this Wednesday, November 21st, is an early dismissal day for all students.  The buses will be leaving Placentino at approximately 11:50.  There will be no PM PreK or Kindergarten on Wednesday.  We will greet the children on Monday, November 26th, when they return to school after our Thanksgiving break.

Thanksgiving wishes to all of our Placentino families and friends!
